Network topologies
what is a topology?
- A network topology describes the way in which the devices are connected .
- A node is any device that is connected to the network.
- The topology of a network describes these connections between nodes in terms of their physical layout and how data is logically transferred between nodes.
- The topologies that will be discussed in our website include; bus, star, ring, hybrid and wireless network.
- Each of these topologie can describe the physical or logical topology
- The physical and logical topologies are independent of each other.
